Teaching Opportunity at Maple Leaf School

Maple Leaf School is looking for outstanding candidates to assume teaching duties in the French Immersion Program. These are full time Grade 4  term positions commencing:

Maple Leaf School is a dual-track (English - French Immersion) school comprised of approximately 355 students in Kindergarten to Grade 4. It is located in the beautiful community of Morden, Manitoba.

Child Development / Parent Child Centre Coordinator  

Western School Division, a progressive and vibrant school division in Morden, MB, invites applications for a full time Child Development / Parent Child Resource Centre Coordinator for the Morden Adult Education Centre, commencing, April 12, 2010.

This position may be combined or separate, depending on the qualifications of applicants. The requirements for these position(s) are:
• the .5 time Child Development Centre Coordinator applicant will have Early Childcare Educator 2 qualifications (or be working toward them), experience in the field, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team approach. Responsibilities will include program development, facilitation, monitoring and evaluation as well as program and schedule organization.
• The Parent Child Centre Coordinator should have familiarity with early childhood programming and pre-school programs such as Mother Goose and Rock and Roll Reading as well as experience in the field and ability to work in a team situation. Responsibilities for the Parent Child Centre will include developing, coordinating and facilitating programs and workshops. Experience in running a family resource center is considered an asset.
Salary is dependent on qualifications.
